The Series Has Finished

After many years the presidential coin series is now complete with the release of the Reagan coin.
I for one believe it will be a golden opportunity in later years to own some presidential coins which will never be minted again.

Silver Prediction

It has been a while since my last post and my views of the coin industry and silver prices have not changed.
The coin shows around the Illinois area are still going very strong and the dealers who have been able to obtain silver and gold inventory are doing a land office business. The coin dealers have raised the premiums on their coins and are still doing the same amount of business as before the drop of the metals market.
This year,2016,has shown a rise n the metals market so far and with the election and unrest with the China economy so far in January it looks like a rise in prices should be eminent.
The presidential coin series is closing and the America The Beautiful quarter program is still issuing some great artwork .
I have always been a big advocate of buying these series and have not changed my position,
It appears the presidential series will still be the only coins that will ever be minted for some obscure and unpopular presidents. These coins will remain a great teaching tool for many years of some past presidents.

A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity

I have been blogging about the presidential coin series for a long time to my reader's and just realized something. The series is offering a unique opportunity for some former presidents to appear on a coin that may have been slighted or forgotten in history. As you go through the series a lot of them will never again appear on a coin and whether you agreed with their philosophies or not they
were still elected to our highest office by the American electorate.
It is for this reason the series is going to be a highly collectible series of coins in the future .
Mark my words.

A New Presidential Dollar

The Franklin  Roosevelt Presidential Coin is out and many current presidents are about to come on the scene as well.Hopefully, this will kick the series into high gear and my prophecies will come true.
With the low mintages the coins will be very hard to obtain in a couple of years as collectors will seek them out.

Update On The Coin Collecting Hobby

The America the Beautiful series is still being minted by the U.S. mint and is well into the series. The mintage is still low and most Americans are unaware of the series. These coins are going to be highly sought after once the series is completed and future collectors will be seeking them out.
I highly suggest to my reader's to buy some rolls or at the very least keep an eye out for them in your change while they are still in great condition.
The Presidential Coin Series just completed the Herbert Hoover coin and is now getting ready to start the presidents we all are familiar with. The series will end with Gerald Ford because he is the last president to pass and the country will not issue any coins of a living person. However, the good news is that the mintage of many of these presidents has been limited for collectors only and in the future will be considered somewhat rare.
With a small markup for the rolls I see them as a great investment.
I urge all readers of this blog to get the real scoop on coins and subscribe to some of the publications available or go to the library and read as much as you can.It would be impossible for me to tell you everything going on in the coin world.

Silver Is The New Way To Get Rich

Silver is still in a good buying range and as I have stated many times before is a great way to increase wealth.
I suggest to my readers you purchase as many bars or rounds as you can afford.
With the dollar in hyper mintage and many countries either broke or going broke it is a great way to protect your nest egg.
You can purchase rounds from the mint or at your local coin store.

Fort McHenry America The Beautiful Quarters Are Available

The Fort McHenry America The Beautiful Quarter's are now released and feature the fort in full regalia. This makes for about the nineteenth edition to the series and it seems they are begiining to grow on me.
You can get them for a premium from the mint or at your local coin store. Perhaps you will even spot one in circulation.

America The beautiful Quarters Are Catching On

I have noticed at coin stores and coin shows that people are purchasing and asking about this series at a strong level and I predict that soon millions of people will start collecting the series.
I have repeatedly told my readers to purchase a few rolls and my prediction is bearing fruition.

Silver comes in different forms

At this time I suggest looking at buying silver in bars or rounds. This type of silver is just a little above spot and you can obtain it without the numismatic markup.

Silver Will Remain Strong ?

I urge all my reader's to keep buying silver even though it has gone down in value these last couple of weeks.
There are numerous websites that discuss silver and gold and I urge the readers of this blog to do some of their own research on these matters.
Speaking from my own experience at coin shows I have seen the numismatic value of Morgan and Peace dollars remain very strong because of their numismatic value above the spot price.

Commodore Perry's Victory quarter is released

The next coin from the America The Beautiful series is the Commodore Perry's Victory quarter and it depicts Perry in a standing position. It is quite impressive and available in rolls and individual coins at shows.
I urge all readers of this blog to consult Coin World  News or Numismatic News for more information on these coins. They both contain a  vast amount of information about the mentioned coins as well as whats happening in the numismatic industry.

Theodore Roosevelt Has Arisen

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential dollar is on the block and for those readers of this blog I am finally seeing a presidential coin that is twentieth century. This furthers my earlier statements that the series will finally be more recognizable  as it progresses.
Just wait until Kennedy and Eisenhower make their entrance and people will want to join the series and have to pay dearly for the earlier presidents.

I Told YOU So

A few months ago I told the readers of this blog that silver was about to make a resurgence. Well it has gone up around six dollars since that post and I suspect with the second term of our president it will go up much higher due to his spending policies and the fact that our country cannot maintain its current level of spending.
Down the road you will be glad you have a few pounds to fall back onto.

The White Mountains Of New Hampshire Are The New Territorial Quarter

The White Mountains are the first new quarter of the year and the mountains are framed by trees.
It is somewhat impressive and as usual will not be very publicized nor collected by the masses.
I do not know about you but this may just be the way to some money down the road when you are able to sell a basically unknown series to future collectors.

Cleveland Has Arrived For The Second Time

The second term of Grover Cleveland's presidential coin is now on the market for purchase. This marks the last of the presidential coins for the year .

Denali Is Here

The next America The Beautiful Quarter has been minted and it is composed of mountains with what appears to be a ram or mountain goat in front. Naturally, after visiting Alaska no coin can hope to capture the scenic wonders of the country ,but it is a nice tribute to the countries  largest national park just the same.
I urge all my reader"s to make an effort to see these parks in their natural state and learn just why these parks are being celebrated on our coinage.

Benjamin Harrison Has Arrived

The Benjamin Harrison Presidential coin is now minted and to be honest I do not know much about him. Because I just came back from a long journey to visit a coin show I am too  tired to see what he is famous for. As of right now, let us just say that Cleveland served before and after him.
The presidential series is like watching paint dry and will probably remain so for a long time.
The  only solace is, I am purchasing coins with a very low mintage at a small premium above face.
