New Metals Are On Their Way

By the end of this year new metals should be announced for the penny and nickel due to the cost of the mints expenses in making them.

Say Hello To El-Yunque

The next America The Beautiful quarter in the series is from the country of Puerto Rico.It is of their national park called El Yunque.

The coin is quite impressive with an unknown bird perched in a tree and adds to the number of animals in the state and series features .

It is unfortunate that only numismatists are enjoying this series due to the non interest of the regular population. Perhaps at some point the series will catch on and those who are purchasing rolls of the quarters will get rewarded highly.

Anyway ,I am enjoying learning about the many parks and territories being featured and will continue to follow the series.
